Daniel Kormoczi, Deputy CEO, Budapest Stock Exchange

Daniel Kormoczi is the Deputy CEO of the Budapest Stock Exchange since February 2016.

He moved to this current position from KBC Securities where he was heading the institutional equities trading and custody sales team of the Hungarian branch as Deputy CEO. Between 2010 and 2012. he was member of the supervisory board of KBC Equitas, the online brokerage firm. Previously for 2 year he was responsible for electronic equities trading and custody sales.

Prior to 2008, he held various capital market related positions at K&H Bank and Citi.

He was member of several committees of the Budapest Stock Exchange and the Central Securities Depository and he has been involved in several market development initiatives. Presently he is member of the Board of Directors of KELER CCP the Hungarian clearing house. He studied at the Budapest University of Economics.
