Anton Rop, Former Prime Minister and former Minister of Finance of the Republic of Slovenia; Honorary Vice President and member of the Board of Directors of the European Investment Bank

Anton Rop was Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia (2002-2004), Minister of Finance of the Republic of Slovenia (2000-2002) and Minister of Labor, Family and Social Affairs (1996-2000).

Currently, Mr. Rop serves as Honorary Vice President of European Investment Bank and Member of EIB Board of Directors. He is also the Executive Director of SL CONSULT and a Researcher at Frankfurt School of Finance and Management

Mr. Rop holds a Master degree in Science in Economics from University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics and has completed a Doctoral programme from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management with major research areas: banking, Infrastructure and SME Lending.
